Armenian Defence Ministry slams misinformation over border claims

The Armenian Ministry of Defence has categorically denied recent media and social media claims alleging that a military position in the direction of Jermuk (Istisu- ed.) has been captured.

In an official statement, the ministry refuted these reports as false, Caliber.Az informs.

Aram Torosyan, the ministry’s press secretary, emphasized the importance of verifying information before dissemination.

“We urge you to refrain from spreading fake news and misinformation, especially considering that the Ministry of Defence refuted this information in response to the first journalistic inquiry,” Torosyan said.
