Mirzoyan reaffirmed "the commitment of the Armenian side to the establishment of a comprehensive and long-term peace in the region. The talks between the Armenian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, in Washington lasted four days (May 1-4).

On May 14, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met in Brussels with EU Council President Charles Michel’s mediation.
