Armenian ex-president's party signals possible alliances before vote

Armenia’s Republican Party is holding its regular congress on April 4 as the country prepares for upcoming elections, with expectations that the party will clarify how it intends to participate in the vote.

According to Armenian media reports cited by Caliber.Az, the party, led by former President Serzh Sargsyan, is expected to announce the format of its electoral involvement during the gathering.

The question of participation remains open, as the Republican Party of Armenia has previously indicated that it does not plan to run independently in the elections.
