Armenian FM’s wife joins commission on unblocking communication with Azerbaijan

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has signed a decision to include several officials in the commission tasked with unblocking communications with Azerbaijan.

Among the appointees is Gohar Abajyan, the wife of Armenia's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, Caliber.Az reports per Armenian media.

Abajyan was recently appointed as the director of the Investment Support Centre fund.

The commission also features Karen Andreasyan, the former Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council of Armenia. Andreasyan, who stepped down from his position last year, is now representing Armenia on international legal issues.

The commission is led by Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan.
