Armenian investigators conduct raids at more than 70 locations
Armenia’s Investigative Committee is conducting simultaneous searches at more than 70 addresses as part of multiple ongoing criminal investigations, the agency’s spokesperson Kima Avdalyan told TASS.
“Within the framework of investigations being conducted by the Investigative Committee in more than a dozen criminal cases, searches are being carried out simultaneously at more than 70 locations,” Avdalyan said, without specifying which cases were involved.
Earlier, Iveta Tonoyan, spokesperson for the opposition Prosperous Armenia Party, told reporters that law enforcement officers had been conducting searches since early morning at the residence of party leader Gagik Tsarukyan as well as at the Multi Group conglomerate owned by the businessman.
