Armenian, Iranian leaders discuss "3+3" regional platform
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan discussed bilateral relations with Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi by phone.
The sides talked about the implementation of the agreements, Caliber.Az reports, citing the press service of the Armenian government.
It is noted that Pashinyan and Raisi exchanged views on the "3+3" regional platform, noting that the meeting held in Tehran was useful.
The "3+3" format envisages the participation of Russia, Iran, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Turkey and Georgia.
The first meeting of the group was held in December 2021 in Moscow at the level of deputy foreign ministers of the five countries. Another meeting, this time with the participation of ministers of the P5 countries was held in October 2023 in Iran. The next meeting will be held in Turkey in 2024.
