29 September 2022 11:10

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will leave for Prague (Czech Republic) on November 6 with a preliminary version of the text of the peace treaty to be signed with Azerbaijan.

According to the Armenian newspaper Past, in a meeting at the White House between Armenian Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan and Azerbaijani Presidential Assistant Hikmat Hajiyev on September 27, initiated by National Security Adviser to the President of the United States, Jake Sullivan, the preliminary versions of the text of the peace treaty were on the agenda.

Grigoryan and Hajiyev voiced their positions and tried to reach a consensus option in a trilateral format.

Pashinyan, according to the newspaper, will take a preliminary version of the text of the peace treaty with him to Prague on November 6, where he is expected to participate in an informal EU summit.

The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, in its statement regarding the provocation committed by the Armenian Armed Forces on September 28 on the border zone, said that the provocations of the Armenian side are purposefully taking place on the eve of the next summit meeting.
