Armenian military police seek information on nephew of arrested Russian oligarch

Armenia’s military police have shown interest in Narek Karapetyan, the nephew of arrested Russian oligarch Samvel Karapetyan, as part of actions conducted under the country’s law on Operational-Investigative Activities.

The military police have sent official inquiries to a number of medical institutions, including children’s dental clinics, Caliber.Az reports via Armenian media.

The inquiries seek to determine whether Narek Karapetyan received medical treatment at these facilities and, if so, the dates and reasons for the treatment. 

No further details have been disclosed.
