Armenian minister illegally visits Azerbaijan's Karabakh region Another provocation by Yerevan
Today, Minister of Labour and Social Affairs of Armenia Narek Mkrtchyan has made an illegal visit to the zone of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, which had temporarily been deployed in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan.
The Armenian minister met with the leader of the Karabakh separatists, in Khankendi, Caliber.Az reports referring to with reference to the Armenian media.
The press service of the Armenian government reported on 19 May that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan would leave for a working visit to Brussels on May 22, where he would meet with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and European Council President Charles Michel.
Apparently, on the eve of this meeting, the Armenian side resorted to another provocation by sending Minister Mkrtchyan on an illegal visit to the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan. The actions of the leadership of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, which allowed the illegal visit of the Armenian minister to Azerbaijani territories, also raise questions.
