Armenian ministry lacks details on opening date for Tabriz consulate

The Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that they currently have no information on the opening date for the country's consulate in Tabriz.

In late April this year, the Armenian government approved the decision to establish a consulate in Tabriz, and the salary for the consul has been set at $2,565, roughly 5/6 of the salary of the ambassador in Tehran, Caliber.Az reports per Armenian media.

The ministry noted that preparatory work is underway for the opening of the consulate in Tabriz.
