Armenian MP advocates for restoring Yerevan-Moscow relations, reaffirms commitment to CSTO membership

Restoring relations between Armenia and Russia is in the best interests of both nations, with no obstacles preventing Yerevan from maintaining its CSTO membership.

Armenian National Assembly MP Tigran Abrahamyan made this statement during a session of the international Russian-Armenian Lazarev Club, as reported by TASS.

"Have the fundamental factors of Armenian-Russian relations changed, preventing the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation from being in the same bloc [CSTO]? Unequivocally no. It is mutually beneficial for us to restore and realign our relations in the right political and military-strategic direction. It is in the interests of both countries," he emphasized.
