Armenian MP calls Pashinyan "unbalanced", urges police to disobey unlawful orders

Armenian opposition MP Levon Kocharyan has urged law enforcement officers not to carry out what he described as unlawful orders, warning that they could later be held accountable for their actions.

According to Armenian media, Kocharyan, a member of the opposition Armenia bloc, said attempts were being made to present the current situation as normal.

He criticised what he described as the judicial and law enforcement systems operating on the direct instructions of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, whom he called “one unbalanced person”.

“Do not take steps for which you will later be held responsible,” he told law enforcement officers, urging them to maintain their professional dignity and act within the law.
