Armenian MP lambasts officials for opposition members' arrest

Armenian MP from the opposition faction Hayastan Ishkhan Saghatelyan has lambasted the authorities, as well as prosecutors and judges for the arrest of some activists.

The MP posted his recent corresponding remarks of threats on his Facebook page, Report informs.

"[Political activists] Geras, Gor, and Taron were arrested only for their political views and political activities in 'democratic' Armenia. I have said many times that they are free, they are stronger than those who deprived them of their freedom.

The men have been imprisoned for four and a half months as a result of illegal decisions made by an unauthorised prosecutor, investigator, and judges at the behest of a perfidious traitor (Nikol Pashinyan - ed. )," according to the publication.
