Armenian newspaper: PM Pashinyan personally called on Shahramanyan to sign decree on “NKR” abolition
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has personally called on the last Karabakh separatist regime “President” Samvel Shahramanyan to sign a decree on the abolition of “Nagorno-Karabakh”.
“Nikol Pashinyan was personally aware of the text of the decree on the abolition and final liquidation of “NKR” and personally called on Shahramanyan to do everything to stop the military escalation, agreeing with all the demands of Azerbaijan,” Caliber.Az reports, citing the Yerevan-based newspaper Hraparak.
“In particular, when the Azerbaijanis conveyed their demands to the Karabakh Armenians, which were reflected in the decision on the abolition of ‘Artsakh’, the dissolution of state institutions, the army, the transfer of weapons to the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Shahramanyan contacted the director of the NSS [Armenian National Security Service] Armen Abazyan and, through his mediation, conducted one and only a telephone conversation with Pashinyan, who called on him to immediately fulfil all Azerbaijan’s demands and prevent the war from spreading to the territory of Armenia,” the newspaper wrote.
