Armenian official expects Azerbaijan to eventually use Armenian roads

Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan said on December 15 that while Azerbaijan  has its own road routes, he expects Baku will eventually make use of Armenian roads as well.

Speaking to reporters at the National Assembly, Papoyan addressed why Azerbaijan has not yet responded to Armenia’s proposal on road access, Caliber.Az reports via Armenian media. 

“I assume they are waiting for a full settlement, after which they will start using our roads. I see absolutely no cause for concern; it is simply a matter of approach. They think everything should be finalized and all at once; we think it can be done in parallel,” he said.
