Armenian opposition announces further actions of civil disobedience

Representative of the Armenian National Committee for the Nationwide Movement Coordination Andranik Tevanyan has called for the intensification of a nationwide strike and announced actions of civil disobedience in Yerevan from 08:00 morning.

Tevanyan made these remarks at an anti-government rally on Republic Square in Yerevan, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Armenian media.

Moreover, rally supporters plan to visit universities and hold conversations with students.

He noted that this is one of the effective methods to achieve the goal – to oust Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and to form a new government.

Tevanyan called on drivers to join the strike at 13:30, stop cars and not drive for 10 minutes.
