Armenian opposition rejects negotiations with government
03 May 2022 14:20
The Armenian opposition rejects negotiations with the country’s government.
Caliber.Az reports, citing the Armenian media, that the remarks came from one of the leaders of the opposition “Resistance” movement, Arthur Vanetsyan.
According to him, the dissent continues its fight against the government.
“We continue staying in the streets with the people, we are not conducting any negotiations with the authorities, we have no agreements,” Vanetsyan said.
He added that the main task of the opposition now is to convince maximum number of people to take to the streets.
“It all depends on the citizens: if more people take to the streets, then the change of power is a matter of one or two days,” Vanetsyan said.
