Armenian opposition to hold rally in center of Yerevan on April 11
The Armenian opposition intends to hold a rally on April 11 in the center of Yerevan.
"This is our first rally, but not the last. We invite you all to Freedom Square on April 11," said leader of Democratic Party of Armenia Aram Sargsyan addressing the rally in front of the parliament initiated by Together movement, Caliber.Az reports quoting Armenian media.
According to him, Tuesday's rally was held in a modest format and in front of the parliament building for a reason, as it's the Holy Week.
According to Sargsyan, the organizers of the rally have received permission from Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II to hold a rally on this day in advance.
At the same time, the representatives and supporters of the movement are planning to march to Karabakh as a convoy on April 6.
