03 September 2025 17:16

The Armenian Parliament has officially received the final report from the temporary investigative commission examining the circumstances surrounding the 44-day war with Azerbaijan in 2020.

The report was submitted to Speaker Alen Simonyan, said a statement by the parliamentary commission on defence and security issues, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.

The commission, established in February 2022 at the initiative of the ruling Civil Contract faction, was tasked with conducting a comprehensive investigation into the political, military, and strategic decisions made before and during the conflict.

Earlier, the head of the commission, Andranik Kocharyan, announced that the report would be made public during the September 2025 session of parliament, offering Armenian lawmakers and the public their first official insight into the findings of the nearly three-year-long inquiry.
