Armenian parliament reconvenes on second try after failed attempt
13 November 2025 11:07
Armenia’s National Assembly was forced to delay its regular four-day session on November 13 after initially failing to secure a quorum, but lawmakers later reconvened and resumed proceedings on a second attempt.
Notably, opposition representatives were present during the session, while many deputies from the ruling Civil Contract party did not attend it, Caliber.Az reports per Armenian media.
The session resumed with discussions on the draft state budget for 2026, focusing on proposed allocations for defence, law enforcement, and security agencies.
