Armenian parliament session collapses again due to lack of quorum
29 May 2026 11:43
A morning session of Armenia’s National Assembly on May 29 failed to take place due to a lack of quorum, marking the third such incident, as the current parliament approaches the end of its term.
Only three out of 107 deputies were present in the chamber, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
Lawmakers, many of whom are engaged in election campaigning, have a four-hour window to attempt to convene a quorum.
According to media reports, the agenda of the current four-day parliamentary sitting includes 35 items.
