Armenian parliament speaker signals readiness to visit Baku

Armenian Parliament Speaker Alen Simonyan has said he is prepared to visit Baku if officially invited.

Simonyan made the remarks during a conversation with journalists, noting that reciprocal parliamentary exchanges could take place as part of improving dialogue, Caliber.Az reports via Armenian media. 

“I am ready to visit Azerbaijan at the appropriate time, if an invitation is extended. I invite my colleague [Speaker of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Sahiba Gafarova, — ed.] to visit Yerevan,” he said.
