Armenian parliament to consider ratification of Rome Statute soon

The issue of ratification of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC) has been included in the agenda of the session of the Armenian parliament, to be held on October 3.

The corresponding decision has been posted on the parliament’s website.

“It is necessary to discuss the adoption of the Rome Statute of the ICC and the adoption of a declaration of retroactive recognition of the jurisdiction of the ICC in accordance with paragraph 3 of Article 12 of the statute,” according to the meeting agenda.
