Armenian parliament to discuss urgent army problems

The Armenian parliament will discuss the situation and urgent problems in the armed forces.

The discussion will be held behind closed doors at 14:30 on February 7, Caliber.Az reports, quoting Armenian media.

Armenian Defence Minister Suren Papikyan will also join the discussions and deliver a speech.

War criminal Seyran Ohanyan, former defence minister and the head of the "Armenia" faction, spoke about the hearings earlier.

He said that "he and his colleagues intend to hear from the Minister the answers to the questions that concern the society, as the authorities, with the help of criminal cases, including those against him, want to distract public attention from the urgent tasks and problems in the army”.
