Armenian PM accepts role in Trump-led Gaza Board of Peace PHOTO
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has received an official invitation from US President Donald Trump to join the "Board of Peace" for Gaza as one of its founding members, Armenian PM press secretary Nazeli Bagdasaryan announced.
Bagdasaryan stated that Prime Minister Pashinyan had accepted the offer with readiness and a sense of responsibility, reaffirming Armenia’s commitment to promoting peace, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.

Earlier, Trump announced the creation of a “Board of Peace” for Gaza, stating that he would soon reveal its members. Invitations were also extended to Russian President Vladimir Putin, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
In November 2025, the UN Security Council approved a US-backed resolution supporting a plan to resolve the situation in the Gaza Strip.
The plan envisions temporary international administration, the establishment of a “Board of Peace” chaired by the US president, and the deployment of International Stabilization Forces in coordination with Israel and Egypt.
