Armenian PM: Civil Contract to win upcoming elections
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has stated that the ruling Civil Contract party will win the upcoming parliamentary elections.
He made the remarks on March 25 during a government session at the National Assembly, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
According to the head of government, this conclusion is based on his meetings with citizens over the past month.
“It is hard to believe that, after a thousand-year search, the people could abruptly abandon the path of development just minutes before reaching their goal and return to a survival agenda. This is historically impossible,” Pashinyan said.
He stressed that Civil Contract remains the only political force capable of ensuring the implementation of a peace agenda. Other parties, he argued, advocate revising what has been achieved, which could lead to a new war.
