Armenian PM condoles with Iran over Khamenei's death, civilian losses
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a telegram of condolences to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, regarding the death of Iranian leaders and citizens.
According to Armenpress, the telegram of condolences sent to the office of the Prime Minister of Armenia states:
"Your Excellency,
We are following the developments in Iran with great concern. Please accept my condolences regarding the victims among the leadership and citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran. We will always remember the personal role of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, Ali Khamenei, in the development of Armenian-Iranian relations.
In this difficult time, we hope for the swift restoration of peace and stability in the Middle East.
Taking this opportunity, I wish you patience, and the people of our friendly neighbouring Iran peace and resilience."
