Armenian PM engages EU diplomats on post-Washington peace agenda
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a meeting with the ambassadors of European Union member states accredited to Armenia.
The head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Vassilis Maragos, also participated in the discussions, according to Caliber.Az, citing Armenian media reports.
The Prime Minister’s office told the media that Pashinyan reviewed the current agenda of Armenia-EU relations, highlighting recent achievements and outlining prospects for further cooperation.
During the meeting, the discussion focused on the regional situation following the Washington peace summit on August 8, 2025, as well as broader issues of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Measures to unblock key regional communication routes were also addressed, including the TRIPP infrastructure projects.
Pashinyan additionally responded to questions from the ambassadors, providing clarifications and updates on ongoing initiatives.
