Armenian PM explores historic Blue Mosque amid working visit to Türkiye
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited the iconic Blue Mosque (Sultan Ahmed Mosque) in Istanbul as part of his ongoing working visit to Türkiye.
Pashinyan also paid a visit to the Church of the Virgin Mary in Istanbul, further highlighting the cultural and religious significance of his visit, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
The Armenian prime minister arrived in Türkiye for a working visit, marking a significant step in bilateral relations between the two neighboring countries. At Istanbul International Airport, Pashinyan was welcomed by Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Berris Ekinci. The visit is anticipated to include high-level discussions, with a scheduled meeting between Pashinyan and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan set for this evening.
