Armenian PM invites Georgian counterpart to COP17 summit

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his Georgian counterpart, Irakli Kobakhidze, held a telephone conversation on Thursday, August 27, discussing bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.
The two prime ministers reviewed the agenda of Armenia-Georgia strategic relations and issues related to cooperation across various fields.
Pashinyan also raised the upcoming 17th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17), which is scheduled to take place in Armenia in October.
He invited Kobakhidze to Armenia to attend the Leaders’ Summit that will be held as part of COP17.
The Georgian prime minister gladly accepted the invitation.
