Armenian PM Pashinyan publishes philosophical post
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has published a new post on his Facebook page
“Whether the path is right or wrong depends on where you are going,” he wrote.
Caliber.Az suggests that this statement of Pashinyan's can be interpreted as an acknowledgement that the correctness of his policies—such as pursuing peace with Azerbaijan, normalising ties with Türkiye, and pivoting away from Russia—depends on the long-term goals of securing Armenia’s sovereignty and stability.
By emphasising destination over the immediate path, Pashinyan may be defending his controversial decisions, which have drawn criticism for conceding to Azerbaijan and alienating Russia, as necessary for Armenia’s future independence and integration into a broader regional framework.
