Armenian PM praises strong, dynamic dialogue with Russian president
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed satisfaction with the ongoing dialogue between Armenia and Russia during a recent meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
Pashinyan highlighted the dynamic nature of the discussions with Russian President Vladimir Putin and praised the overall development of bilateral relations between the two countries, Caliber.Az reports per Armenian media.
The PM emphasized the importance of continuous consultations between the two countries. He specifically pointed out that the deputy prime ministers of Armenia and Russia collaborate closely within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) and on matters concerning their bilateral relations.
Earlier, Lavrov, speaking to students at the Russian-Armenian University, stated that Armenia and Russia have moved beyond the phase of mutual distrust and grievances. He emphasized that both countries now base their relationship on tangible facts, marking a shift towards a more pragmatic and fact-driven approach.
According to Lavrov, Moscow and Yerevan are now focused solely on these real facts as the foundation for their future interactions. During his visit, he held talks with the Armenian Foreign Minister in Yerevan and was received by both the Armenian President and Prime Minister.
