Armenian PM reminds first president of past political retreats in public note

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has publicly addressed the country’s first president, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, in a message shared on his official Facebook page.

“Dear Levon Ter-Petrosyan!

In 1996, you ran away from the election results, in 1998 — from power, in 2008 — from the opposition. I understand that now you want to run away, but you can't find anywhere to go.

And you don't need to: just calm down and enjoy the peaceful life that has settled in the Republic of Armenia. I wish everyone a good day,” Pashinyan wrote.
