Armenian PM sues former MPs over election remarks

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has filed a lawsuit against former lawmakers Sofia Hovsepyan and Edmond Marukyan, alleging defamation and insult in connection with statements they made about elections.

According to Caliber.Az, citing Armenian media reports, Pashinyan is seeking a public retraction of the disputed remarks, along with financial compensation.

The claim includes 2 million drams (about $5,400) for insult and 4 million drams (about $11,000) for defamation.
