Armenian PM to receive Zayed Award for Human Fraternity in 2026
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will be awarded the 2026 "Zayed Award for Human Fraternity" in recognition of advancing peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, according to a statement by the Armenian government.
The award committee highly praised the Agreement on the Establishment of Peace and Inter-State Relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan. The agreement was cited as a significant contribution to regional stability and reconciliation, Caliber.Az reports.
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev is among the distinguished recipients.
According to the official website of the Mohamed Bin Zayed Foundation for Humanity, the winners of the 2026 Zayed Award for Human Fraternity were announced on January 19. An official statement confirmed that the award ceremony will take place on February 4, marking the International Day of Human Fraternity, at the Founder's Memorial in Abu Dhabi.
