Armenian police defends actions against revanchists blocking road

In the wake of a tense confrontation between law enforcement and revanchists who had blockaded the road leading to Kirants (Guney – ed.), Deputy Chief of Police Karen Hakobyan stood firm in defense of the police's actions, asserting that they were carried out within the bounds of the law.

Early this morning, tensions escalated as a group of revanchists obstructed the road, prompting a response from the authorities to disperse the blockade and detain those involved, Caliber.Az reports citing Armenian media.

 When questioned by journalists about the legal justification for the use of force, Deputy Chief Hakobyan was resolute in his response.

"I did everything right. I have legal grounds for that, I did everything correctly. There was no violence, everything happened in line with the law," Hakobyan stated.
