Armenian political analyst: Azerbaijan fully resolves Karabakh issue
Armenian political analyst Suren Surenyants has written that interesting events have occurred over the past 24 hours.
“The French ambassador left Baku to hold consultations in France. According to the Azerbaijani media, the process of withdrawing the Russian peacekeeping mission from Karabakh has also begun,” Caliber.Az reports citing the political analyst’s message in Telegram.
“Of course, it is difficult to see a direct connection between these events, but they show on the one hand, the weakening influence of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries on Azerbaijan, while on the other hand, the final settlement of the Karabakh issue,” he added.
The Russian peacekeeping contingent temporarily deployed in the Karabakh region has left Azerbaijan.
The Russian contingent has left Azerbaijan once and for all.
Azerbaijan has resolved the Karabakh issue, including full sovereign control over the liberated region.
Following the 44-day second Karabakh war of 2020, Russian peacekeepers were deployed in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan as part of a ceasefire agreement brokered by Russia between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
