Armenian president reaffirms commitment to peace in South Caucasus
Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan has emphasised his country’s dedication to strengthening peace and security in the South Caucasus.
Speaking at the forum “International Year of Peace and Trust – 2025” in Ashgabat, President Khachaturyan highlighted recent diplomatic efforts between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reports via Armenian media.
He recalled the initialling of a peace agreement between Yerevan and Baku on August 8 in Washington and referred to the so-called “Trump Route” project aimed at fostering regional stability.
Khachaturyan urged international partners to support the process of establishing lasting peace and security in the region, underlining Armenia’s commitment to constructive dialogue and cooperation.
