Armenian president stresses regional peace in talks with US Vice President Vance

President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan met with U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance in Yerevan on February 9, as the latter arrived in the Armenian capital on an official visit.
According to Armenpress, citing the Public Relations Department of the Armenian President’s Office, the talks focused on regional developments and the future of Armenian–US relations. Khachaturyan underscored the importance of achieving lasting peace in the South Caucasus and highlighted the role played by U.S. President Donald Trump in advancing the peace process between Yerevan and Baku.
The sides also emphasised that high-level reciprocal visits help expand bilateral cooperation and further strengthen relations between Armenia and the United States.
