Armenian pundit denounces OSCE for its ineffectiveness in Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict settlement
Political analyst Sarkis Asatryan has said that OSCE MG was not interested in the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict.
"For 30 years, the OSCE Minsk Group has shown itself as the most ineffective institution," Asatryan noted in a video message to the conflicting nations on his Facebook page, Caliber.Az reports.
"Being an Armenian, I have spoken many times about the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs have every time put forward new demands to keep this conflict unresolved. For 30 years this institution has proved to be the most ineffective structure. Let the Co-Chairs represented by the United States, France and Russia take no offence at me, but this is a fact. A fact that can be confirmed by both Armenian and Azerbaijani objective experts.
Now I would like to say once again that dialogue is necessary to solve the conflict, it is necessary to create institutions of this dialogue without mediators, and then any conflict can be solved. There is no conflict that has no solution. It is just necessary to remove those interested in the conflict," the political scientist said.
