Armenian security chief opts for Republic Day over Moscow meet

Armen Grigoryan, Secretary of Armenia’s National Security Council, will not be attending the 13th International Meeting of High Representatives overseeing security matters, which is set to be held in Moscow.

His absence is due to his scheduled participation in national celebrations marking Republic Day in Armenia.

As reported by Caliber.Az, citing Armenian media sources, the Armenian Security Council issued a statement explaining Grigoryan’s decision.

"In connection with his participation in the events dedicated to Republic Day on May 28, the Secretary of the National Security Council of Armenia will not take part in the meeting in Moscow," the statement read.
