Armenian security chief responds to questions of visiting Azerbaijani civil society reps Photo
Armen Grigoryan, Secretary of Armenia’s Security Council, met with representatives of civil society from Armenia and Azerbaijan on February 14 as part of the “Bridge of Peace” initiative, aimed at fostering dialogue and confidence-building between the two countries.
According to an official statement, Grigoryan welcomed the visit of Azerbaijani civil society representatives to Armenia and underscored that bilateral engagement in this format plays a significant role in strengthening mutual trust and promoting good-neighbourly relations, Caliber.Az reports per Armenian media.

During the meeting, Grigoryan briefed participants on the current progress in the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process. He also outlined potential economic opportunities that could emerge from the unblocking of regional transportation and communication links, as well as the broader dynamics shaping relations between the two South Caucasus neighbours.
In the second part of the meeting, the Security Council Secretary responded to questions from the participants, the statement added.
