Armenian security chief, US congressman discuss TRIPP project

Armenian Security Council Secretary Armen Simonyan has discussed with US Congressman Abraham Hamadeh regional developments related to the implementation of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP).

The talks also focused on issues of mutual interest, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.

TRIPP is a key feature of the Joint Declaration signed in Washington between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

TRIPP, also called the Zangezur Corridor, envisages a transit passage through Armenia’s Syunik province connecting mainland Azerbaijan to its Nakhchivan exclave.
