Armenian soldier loses leg after training accident in Lori region

An Armenian soldier was injured during military training exercises in Armenia’s northern Lori region, resulting in the loss of his leg.

The serviceman is assigned to a military unit in Nubarashen, in the capital Yerevan, Caliber.Az reports via Armenian media.

Quoting an unnamed source, the reports alleged that negligence by commanding officers and a problematic internal environment within the unit may have contributed to the incident.
