Armenian soldier was driven to suicide, investigation finds

An individual has been arrested in connection with the death of an Armenian serviceman who blew himself up with a grenade.

The investigation concluded that the 23-year-old contract soldier had been driven to suicide. Law enforcement authorities are currently examining various circumstances related to the serviceman’s personal problems.

Earlier, media reports said the tragedy was preceded by a dispute with fellow servicemen over debts.
