Armenian Speaker meets newly appointed Iranian ambassador

Speaker of Armenia’s National Assembly Alen Simonyan has met with Iran’s newly appointed ambassador, Khalil Shirgholami.

The Armenian parliament's Telegram channel says Simonyan congratulated the ambassador on his appointment during the meeting, per Caliber.Az.

The sides also discussed prospects for developing inter-parliamentary cooperation.
