Armenian Speaker sends 44-day war commission report to parliamentary archives

Speaker of the Armenian Parliament, Alen Simonyan, has sent the report of the commission on the 44-day war to the archives of the National Assembly, and Simonyan’s press secretary, Movses Harutyunyan.

According to Harutyunyan, the report could not be included in the agenda of the plenary session due to the expired deadline for submission to the legislative body, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.  

“After discussions with all interested parties, it was decided to send the report to the archives of the National Assembly,” Harutyunyan said.

He added that all members of parliament, including opposition deputies with access to classified information, retain the right to review the document.
