Armenian top lawmaker fires back at Russian agency’s post-Pashinyan power claims PHOTO
Armenian National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan has strongly reacted to a publication by the Russian news agency ANNA News, which released an article titled “Her Majesty Armenia”, claiming that Simonyan plans to pursue power in a post-Pashinyan Armenia.
Simonyan addressed the matter on his Telegram channel, ridiculing the agency’s report:
“In the context of a nonexistent hybrid war against Armenia and in line with principles of non-interference in our internal affairs, the news agency ANNA News, registered with the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology, and Mass Media (Roskomnadzor), has once again sought to ‘distinguish itself’ with its so-called ‘exclusive’ content.

It is unclear why anyone would pay these talentless individuals for such nonsense. It appears they merely googled every conceivable word associated with my name and haphazardly compiled them into a text — resulting in what can only be described as verbal diarrhea. One must wonder: who is this absurdity even intended for?
Poorly executed, comrades. Big Brother will certainly not be pleased. You are welcome to visit — perhaps I could even grant you an interview at the airport… although it is unlikely you would be allowed entry into Armenia.
On a lighter note, the photo accompanying the article is excellent — I personally liked it,” Simonyan concluded.
