Armenian veteran accuses ex-defence minister in bribery

A conflict occurred between the parents of servicemen missing in the 44-day Second Garabagh War and war criminal, Armenian former Defence Minister Seyran Ohanyan during a visit to the Yerablur military cemetery in Yerevan on September 21.

“Thus, the parents accused Ohanyan of corruption, which led to chaos in the Armenian army. Ohanyan replied that there is no one who could prove that he took a bribe when he was a minister,” Caliber.Az reports citing the Armenian “Hraparak” newspaper.

“I’m telling you officially, my mother personally gave you money in 1994 and I was allowed to leave the army. I found out this four years later. I was wounded in Horadiz,” a relative of the deceased Armenian soldier responded to Ohanyan.
