Armenians flee from Russia after mobilisation announcement
After the announcement of the "partial mobilisation" by Russian President Vladimir Putin, Armenians living in the country - citizens of the Russian Federation - flocked to Armenia en masse.
All tickets for the Moscow-Yerevan flight have been sold out in the near future. Khachatryan publicly accused Russian Armenians of cowardice and desertion and called on the country's law enforcement agencies to deprive those who fled to Armenia of Russian citizenship, Stavropol Territory resident Hasmik Khachatryan wrote on her Whatsapp messaging account, Caliber.Az reports.
"When the 44-day war was going on, the Russian Armenians did not go to Armenia. Oh, yes, you were Russian citizens. And now, when Putin announced the mobilisation, you all suddenly became Armenians. I am ashamed of you," Khachatryan wrote.
